A team of volunteers accompanied Dr. Paul Barkey to Romania April 15-30, 2024 and October 24-30, 2024. Many friendships were formed and strengthened while assisting Titus in conducting day camps for the Roma children, as well as reaching out to the gypsy villages. Significant work toward the renovation of a small building to be used as a ministry center was also done. Some highlights of the trips may be seen in the videos below.

Radio Outreach
The radio ministry continues to expand and open doors of ministry throughout Romania. The programs broadcast the Gospel, Roma Christian music, and testimonies of the Roma which are recorded by them personally. The staff of the radio station has archived past programs which are put on CDs and given out like tracts. These have gone throughout Europe, North Africa and into Russia. We have no way of assessing the impact of God's Word through the CDs.
Our missionary, Titus, has become well known through our Roma radio program which has opened doors of opportunity throughout western Romania. In several of the Roma churches, when asked, everyone indicated that they have been listening to the Friends of the Gypsy Roma broadcast. Many of the pastors have little or no theological training and they depend upon the radio for sermon preparation.

We have recorded the entire New Testament in the "heart language" of the Gypsy Roma people. There is a high rate of illiteracy (about 80%) among the Roma population, but many will listen to the Bible on their cell phones! Please pray with us that the word of the Lord will spread rapidly and be glorified. (II Thessalonians 3:1)
